After 25 years of experience, we have built up a team of first-rate fully-qualified ski and snowboard instructors. We offer group or private lessons at a wide range of levels — from instruction for absolute beginners wishing to get full value from their first ski holiday, to master classes for hardened veterans wanting to hone their technique. We can cater for adults and children, run special ladies-only classes , and can organize instruction for youth and corporate groups.
Group Lessons
We offer a 6-week structured group of lessons. Each lesson lasts an hour, and is taken at the same time each week. Where possible we try to maintain the same instructor for a block of lessons. At the end of any block there is the option to book on with the same group to the next level, providing that a minimum number wish to continue. Group lessons take place midweek evenings, Monday to Thursday, and on Saturday and Sunday Mornings. They are available from September to June.

Rates are for six weekly group lessons, and include all equipment.
New members are entitled to one free set of lessons on joining.
Minimum age for group lessons is 6 years for skiing, 8 years for boarding.
Private Lessons
Private lessons may be booked at a time to suit the individual, midweek from 10 am to 5 pm, or on Saturday or Sunday afternoons. There is a price reduction if lessons are taken in blocks of four. Private lessons are designed for ‘one-on-one’, but can accommodate more people if required. We strongly recommend that adults and young children take separate lessons.

Condensed Lessons.
We offer 2 and 3 hour condensed lessons suitable for ages 12 and over — all levels are catered for. These lessons are designed to provide a good basic introduction to skiing or a last-minute brush up on some particular skills.

School and Youth Groups
Information on group instruction for local schools can be found in the
"Kids & Parties" Section. Youth groups can also be catered for. Contact the club for details.
Booking Policy
While we try to offer continuity of instructor, this can not be guaranteed due to holidays, sickness or other commitments. Once Private lessons are booked they may be cancelled, but we require 24 hours notice for weekday lessons and 48 hours notice at weekends. Failure to turn up for lessons or cancellation without the required notification will result in the lesson being lost. There are no refunds available for lessons not taken or lost. For group lessons we need 5 days notification of cancellation of a block of lessons or a £15 cancellation charge will be due. A ‘no show’ or cancellation on the day will result in full payment being due.
