All practice sessions must be booked in advanced to help us control numbers on the slopes.

Slopes will open to the public from 4th September 2021.

All slopes are subject to availability and practice sessions are not guaranteed.

When booking online a small booking fee is applied. Bookings can be made via the office which will void the booking fee.

Slope use is free of charge to members who have their own equipment. All Sessions must be booked in advance.


*Family ticket includes use of slope and all equipment hire.
There is no reduction on family ticket if own equipment used.
Family ticket discounts are for members of the same family only.

MINIMUM STANDARD FOR SLOPE USE

In the interests of safety, all skiers and boarders on open practice must be able to perform to our minimum standards

Skiers must be able to demonstrate controlled snowplough stop, linked turns and use
of the travellator tow (level 2)

Snowboarders must be able to demonstrate a controlled descent using toe and heel edge,
and a diagonal side slip (level 2)

In order to access the freestyle slope, skiers must be able to demonstrate linked parallel turns on the main slope (level 5/6).
 
Snowboarders must be able to demonstrate linked turns on the main slope (level 4).
 
Helmets MUST be worn at all times on the freestyle and should be provided by the participant. We have a small stock of helmets available for use.

  • Teaching by members of the public and club members is not permitted, regardless of experience and qualifications. Only instructors employed by the club may teach on the premises.

  • HELMETS MUST BE WORN for the following activities; junior and adult race training, junior and adult freestyle, tubing and all activities on the freestyle slope.
