Dear Member,

 

Our season kicks of this weekend, and we are looking forward to getting back onto the slopes after Maintenance. We hope you will enjoy the new matt that has been laid on the main slope, along with the cleaning of many more areas of the slopes. October Ski School is open for booking.

Glasgow Ski & Snowboard Centre Club



Becoming a ski Instructor is one of the best ways to continue enjoying your sport all year round.

 

BASI - British Association of Snowsports Instructors is our body of qualified Instructors and they are running a course at the Club on the 26th - 29th of September. Contact us or the BASI website for more info. Min Age 16

 

Bookings are direct with BASI


Club Development in need of an Engineer


The Club have a development project in the pipeline and require a structural Engineer to provide more detailed groundwork logistics and costings. We are looking to see if anyone involved in the Club can help or recommend someone that we can reach out to. Please contact julie@ski-glasgow.co.uk

13th September - Ski Servicing Workshop - Open to Race Parents

27th September - Main Slope Closed - Race Event South of Clyde

26th October - Ski Club AGM - All Members welcome

 

October

Thursday 2nd October - Rossignol Ski Test Night - 6.30pm - 9.30pm

Rossignol UK are offering our members a Ski Test night, where there will be some kids race skis but mostly adult recreational skis for testing.

Alongside the ski test the Club are offering Instructional company on the slope to help with technique and chatting more about equipment. When there is ski activity there is always some après, join us in the cafe/bar for some wine, cheese & biscuits.

 

November 

Saturday the 1st of November - Teen Halloween Social - 7 - 10.30pm

Open to all Juniors aged 12 years to 16years, DJ Fraser in the house

Cost - Members £5 per ticket and non-members £10 per ticket

Halloween dress optional.
